Frequently asked
What does this test measure?
It estimates which of the nine Enneagram types your current motivations most resemble. The Enneagram describes nine core patterns of attention, fear, and desire — this test points to your dominant one and lets you read the rest.
Is the Enneagram scientific?
The Enneagram is a popular typology used in coaching and self-development, but it does not have the empirical backing of models like the Big Five. Treat it as a lens for self-reflection and conversation, not as a validated psychological measurement.
Where does the Enneagram come from?
The modern personality Enneagram took shape in the 20th century through teachers such as Oscar Ichazo and Claudio Naranjo, and was later popularised by many authors. The nine-type concept has no single owner.
Can I be more than one type?
Most people relate to several types. The Enneagram assumes one dominant type with a neighbouring 'wing', and your behaviour shifts under stress and ease. This test shows your strongest match plus how the others rank for you.
Is any type better than another?
No. Every type has its own strengths and its own blind spots. The point isn't to land a 'good' type — it's to understand the pattern you tend to run, so you can use its gifts and watch its traps.
Is this an official RHETI test?
No. It is inspired by the Enneagram model but uses our own questions. It is not the RHETI®, the official test of any Enneagram organisation, or a clinical or hiring instrument.
Can my type change?
Most Enneagram teachers say your core type stays the same for life, while how healthily you express it changes. Your test result can shift, though — especially if you answer based on a particular period of your life.
Are my answers stored?
Only if you finish — we save the result so you get a shareable link. We don't collect personal info; the test is fully anonymous.
