IQ Test — Free Cognitive Score with 4-Area Breakdown

A balanced cognitive assessment across 4 reasoning areas

Free. No account. Results immediately.

What's measured

Four subscales, one composite score.

Each attempt samples items across four reasoning domains. Subscales are weighted equally; the composite is the mean of the four 40–160 subscale scores.

01

Logical

Sequence completion, syllogisms, propositional inference.

02

Spatial

Procedurally-generated 3×3 matrix puzzles — rotation, progression, mirroring.

03

Numerical

Number series, ratios, and quantitative reasoning under a soft time budget.

04

Verbal

Analogies and lexical relations, hand-authored per locale.

Q. SAMPLESample question · your test will draw items like this

Pick the tile that completes the pattern. Spatial items use procedurally-generated matrices — the sample below is one realisation of the P-shape progression family. Your test will draw fresh matrices like this each attempt.

FAQ

Things people ask before starting.

How accurate is this IQ test?
This is an entertainment quiz inspired by cognitive research, not a clinically normed IQ test. We don't have a representative population sample, so the score is a self-consistent measure across Qsapio takers, not a precise IQ measurement. Treat the result as a guide to your cognitive style, not an IQ certificate.
Why do you call it "Cognitive Score" and not "IQ"?
Real IQ tests require standardization on a representative sample — a process that takes years and thousands of participants. We use the Cognitive Score branding to be honest about what we're measuring: cognitive ability across four reasoning areas, on a scale inspired by IQ convention but not equivalent to clinical IQ.
Can I take the test more than once?
Yes. We sample questions from a larger bank, so each retake can give you a different set. We recommend waiting at least a day between attempts.
What do the four areas mean?
Logical reasoning measures abstract problem-solving (series, classifications, syllogisms). Spatial pattern measures visual-spatial intelligence (matrix puzzles, mental rotation). Numerical reasoning measures quantitative thinking (math patterns, word problems). Verbal reasoning measures language-based intelligence (analogies, vocabulary).
How long does the test take?
Quick: about 5 minutes (10 questions). Standard: 15–20 minutes (30 questions). Extended: 30–40 minutes (45 questions). Pick the depth that fits your time.
Is the test free?
Yes, fully free. No signup, no payment, no email required. Your results are anonymous unless you choose to share them.
Where do the questions come from?
We use a mix of items inspired by open-source cognitive research (ICAR, MaRs-IB) and original items authored by Qsapio. Visual matrix puzzles are generated procedurally, so each one is unique.
My score seems off — what should I do?
Cognitive scores can vary based on focus, fatigue, time of day, and even mood. If you have specific concerns about cognitive function, please consult a licensed psychologist for a proper assessment. Our test is an estimate, not a diagnosis.

An entertainment quiz, framed honestly.

Qsapio's Cognitive Score is a free entertainment estimate based on standard cognitive item types. It is not a clinical IQ assessment — we don't issue certificates and our scoring is not normed for medical, educational, or employment decisions.
