The Antenna
You catch the signal without decoding it.
You pick up the state of a room before anyone announces it, and you carry it — but you don't reconstruct what's behind it, and you aren't particularly pulled to do something about it. The catching is real and it's useful: walking into tension and feeling it in your body is information, and people with this profile are usually right that something is going on. What's missing is the second step. Without a read, an absorbed mood arrives with no label on it, and unlabelled moods get attributed to whatever is nearest — which is nearly always yourself. An afternoon that went wrong in someone else's argument turns into evidence about your own week. The most useful habit here is deliberately asking whose feeling this is, out loud if necessary: you already have the signal, you're just missing the sender.
