Strong
Your thinking arrives as language and mostly does not stop. Decisions get talked through, plans get spoken, conversations get rehearsed before and reviewed after, and the phrasing genuinely matters — a thought that is not yet in words does not feel finished. The advantage is that your reasoning is always already in shareable form: you rarely have to translate to explain yourself, and you tend to be good at it. The cost is symmetrical. What is hard to say is hard to think, so problems that resist description get less of your attention than they deserve, and the narration keeps running at times when you would much rather it stopped.
Moderate
Words are one of your channels, not the whole of your thinking. Some things get talked through internally — usually the difficult, the social or the ones you expect to have to defend — and a great deal else happens without any commentary at all. This is the reading that finds both extremes strange: readers who narrate every minute sound exhausting, and readers with complete inner silence sound implausible. The practical shape is that you can put your thinking into words when it matters without living inside a running monologue, which means explanation is a step you take rather than a state you are already in.
Faint
Your head is quiet. Decisions get made, arguments get settled and problems get solved without any of it being spoken internally — and the discovery that other people hear a continuous voice narrating their day is, for readers at this end, usually the surprising part of this test rather than their own result. Nothing is wrong with this and nothing is missing. Thinking without inner speech is common enough to be named in the research literature. What it costs is the translation step: your conclusions are not already in sentences, so explaining how you got somewhere is a separate piece of work from getting there.
