You want someone good to you whose life is genuinely built, and you are the least demanding of the eight when it comes to being swept away. That combination is the most reliable one in the set — it selects for the two standards that hold their value over decades, and it explains a great many long marriages that nobody would describe as dramatic. Be clear-eyed about the trade, though, because it is a real one and it is yours. Pull is the standard you have set aside, and set-aside standards have a way of returning: not as a crisis, usually, but as a slow question about whether comfort and attraction were supposed to be the same thing. The profile does best when that question gets asked out loud early rather than answered quietly late.
