Heart First
One thing is non-negotiable, and it's how they treat you.
Warmth is the requirement and the other two are open. You are not especially moved by how someone looks or by how impressive their life is, but unkindness ends it — not as a rule you announce, more as something you stop being able to overlook. This is the most durable single standard of the eight, because it selects for the thing that still matters in year twenty, when the pull has settled and the job has changed twice. What it doesn't protect you from is a comfortable life with someone you were never quite drawn to, or a partnership where you carry more than your half because kindness was enough to say yes to. Warmth is necessary. Your profile is the one most likely to treat it as sufficient.
